Privacy policy

Starmorph operates TermiteReport, an online workspace for inspection businesses. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the website and application. Contact dylan@starmorph.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
We process account identifiers and contact information, business memberships, the business and inspector details you enter, report observations, property and client details, photographs and their associated metadata, saved PDFs, filing notes, revision history and activity records. We also process subscription status, payment references, and technical request/error information.
Stripe collects payment information directly. TermiteReport does not store your full payment card number. Authentication is provided by Clerk. Files you upload may contain personal information or metadata; only upload material you are authorized to use and need for the inspection.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, provide business workspaces, save and retrieve reports and files, generate PDFs, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, investigate problems, and maintain the integrity of records. We do not sell your inspection records or use report content to train our own AI models.
Service providers and access
We use Clerk for identity and membership, Turso for database records, Vercel for hosting and private file storage, and Stripe for billing. These providers process information to deliver their services. Website usage measurement may be provided by Vercel Analytics. Business administrators and authorized members can access business records according to their roles. Support access is limited to what is necessary to operate the service or address a request. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect the service and its users.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication uses cookies and related browser storage to maintain your session and protect account access. The hosted report workspace requires an internet connection: a report is saved to the account only after a successful server save. We do not present unsaved browser edits as retained account records.
Storage and retention
Reports, file references and revision records are stored in the service database; uploaded photos and generated PDFs use private object storage. Data may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our providers operate. Access controls reduce unauthorized access, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and business records while providing the service and as needed for legitimate recordkeeping, disputes, security and legal obligations. Canceling a subscription does not automatically erase business reports. Removed photos are excluded from future PDFs; historical PDFs and audit records may remain. Backup copies may persist until their normal expiry. We do not promise immediate deletion of records subject to retention requirements.
Your choices and requests
You can update account details, download saved drafts and PDFs, and manage billing in the application. Contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion, or to close a business account. We may verify your identity and authority over the business before acting. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law, the rights of other business members, and legitimate retention obligations.
Children and changes
This service is intended for professional users, not children. Do not create an account if you are under 18. We may update this policy as the product changes and will update the effective date; material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service notice.
